I’m a team captain for the Light Lagos PinkTM Campaign, a Guinness World Record attempt for breast cancer organised by Sebeccly Cancer care.
Sebeccly Cancer Care is the host of the Light Lagos Pink and is an organization dedicated to helping more cancer patients become survivors through free treatment,counseling,research,advocacy and navigation services.
Goals
1. To promote breast awareness and cancer survivorship.
2. To advocate for the inclusion of cancer care in the National Health.
Insurance Scheme
3. To raise funds to treat 400 cancer patients.
This campaign is an attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the largest human pink ribbon made up of over 12,000 people wearing pink.
Date: 10th October, 2015.
Venue: Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere, Lagos, Nigeria.
Time: 10am – 12pm.
I’ll bring you more info about it and your role in achieving this.
