I Have A Confession Again!

Hello everyone, how has your week been? If you live in Nigeria,  hope the fuel scarcity isn’t getting the better part of you. Hmm… Nigeria will flourish again!

I shared my first confession here. I’ll be sharing another today.

This week has been filled with different events, some left me with a bitter taste in my mouth and some made me smile. Life will throw different things at you including queuing for hours to buy fuel but we’ve got to brace up!

This week started with me heartbroken, all the hard work I had put into a project was cancelled. I really was sad; I had invested so much in the project. I was at a point where I had to start rebuilding. I was confused, everything looked too big for me to handle, I didn’t know where to start.

I looked at all the beautiful things I wanted to do on my blog and the challenges that I was facing. This led into a cascade of events that led to me seeing things with the wrong lens, I wasn’t seeing what God was seeing so I was overwhelmed until later in the week when everything began to take shape, I let Jesus take the wheel.

I decided to stop worrying and see how productive I have been…

I read two books and on the third and I got more awesome books to read.

I began training in graphics design, today was my first day and I’ll show you some of my designs later.

I attended meeting for the planning of an upcoming event of my NGO coming up soon, I’ll give you more info later.

I now have a better way of handling the challenges. Worrying really makes thinking difficult.

Lesson of the week: Keep Calm and let Jesus do the worrying.

What have you learnt this week? Please share. 🙂

  1. 1) I like the simplicity
    2) to improve on consistent dates and if possible times too like “almost a bride”
    3) I would like to see a day Mz Perry says ” free Chinese food or cakes for all at so-so day and time, come let’s merry together”

Overall it’s been a jolly ride with Perryztots

    1. Thank you TBOG for your comment, it made me happy!
Thanks for the compliment and suggestions too. I’ll work towards the time and a meet and greet sort of event for my readers! Not a bad idea, sponsors where are you??? 😀

  2. 1. What do you like about Perry’s Tots?
Your honesty throughout your blog is refreshing, we also love how varied your content is.
    2. What do you want the blog to improve on?
It would be interesting to see some videos, although we all know this can be a big challenge in itself.
    3. What will you like to see on the blog?
So far, we’re just enjoying your content and looking forward to more of what you have already.

    1. Thank you Medics’ Inn, your comment is really valued!

Here I was thinking the varied content wasn’t good, like I should focus on just one thing. Thanks for helping me with that. 😀

Getting videos et al on the blog are part of the challenges I’m facing but I wouldn’t let it make me give up. I’ll find a way to make it work. If you or anyone have an advice concerning this I’ll greatly appreciate it.

Thank you for your kind words. 🙂

      1. The varied content is great – it is a reflection of you and your talent!
Regarding the videos, you can start with the basics. Once you know what you would like to upload you can try recording it on your phone, use a video edittor then post it on your page via a youtube upload. Although this is very basic, its a start.
        We hope that helps.

  3. 1) I love the fact that the posts are not predictable and also, 31days 31voices is always inspiring. I love that about Perry’s tots.

    2) I don’t know how feasible having more of short stories will be but I’ll really love to read more stories..

    3) I would love to see guest sections where people who can be considered as young mentors/leaders can write a thing or two to inspire us …

    Love…Learn…Inspire…has a nice ring to it..well done Perry’s tots
